Introducing Throwaways

Every artist has songs that get recorded and then never come out. Phoenix rapper Tkyo Saint's debut album is made of exactly those. Throwaways collects 10 songs he recorded but was too scared to release. It arrives October 9, 2026 through Too Lost, and it's his first music on streaming services.

These songs sat in the vault. Tkyo recorded them, and then he was too scared to put them out, so they never reached anyone. Now he's finally releasing them, as they are, and they're his debut album.

02/The coverControl, and breaking free

The Throwaways cover is a painting soaked in deep red and black. Two giant hands reach down from the top of the frame with strings looped around their fingers. The strings run down to a figure below. He's blindfolded with a white cloth, his long locs fall around his face, and he wears a dark leather jacket over a white tank top. One arm is pulled up by the strings, and the other hangs at his side. His head is bowed. A Parental Advisory label sits in the bottom-right corner. There's no title or name on the front, just the image.

The idea is control. The figure can't see and can't move on his own; someone else is working the strings. The album is about breaking free of that. These songs were held back by fear, and putting them out is the moment the strings get cut.

The back cover keeps the same red-and-black texture, with the 10 track titles set in gold capital letters.
